I first came to Austin in 1996 to study at the University of Texas. After school I moved to Houston and worked at a large insurance brokerage firm as a producer for four long years.

While in Houston I developed my love for houses, in particular older homes. I lived in a 1930's bungalow close to downtown which was in need of some TLC. After bringing it back to life and seeing my return when it was sold I realized that renovating older homes was something I not only loved to do but had a knack for.

After moving back to Austin I completed several other renovation projects which all were successful financially. I spent lots of time looking at houses just for fun. I began to know the inventory in several areas of town just for my own interest. At that point I realized I needed to get my license and start helping other people find that perfect place.
